This is a quick, oven-less way to make an awesome sandwich. So whether it’s ham and cheese, or your own favorite fixings, Chēbē is your waffle… just hold the syrup this time.

Ingredients
Dough:
  • 1 package (7.5 oz) Chebe Original Cheese Bread Mix
  • 3 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 4 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp oil
Filling (this is your choice, but this is what we did):
  • Brown mustard , baby spinach, sliced cheese, sliced ham and tomatoes
Instructions
  1. Plug in waffle iron to preheat on medium.
  2. Place the Chebe mix in a bowl. With a fork, blend in the cheese, eggs, milk and oil. Mix for a couple of minutes with the fork, then use your hands and knead it until the dough is smooth and well blended.
  3. Divide dough into 3 equal pieces, about 5 oz each. Flatten into a 6” diameter patty.
  4. Press in a preheated waffle iron until lightly browned on each side.
  5. Cut the Chebe waffle in half and add the sandwich fillings.
Recipe Notes

This can be made dairy free using our dairy free savory Chebe mix options and dairy free cheese. 

This can be made egg free using aquafaba.

This recipe works great with Chēbē Original Cheese Bread Mix.
