Grain Free Strawberry-Pistachio Tart

This strawberry pistachio tart is so easy to make, and the vibrant colors of this awesome pastry just explode off the tray!  And just wait until you taste it!  Ease, Beauty, Flavor!  Three thumbs up!

Grain Free Strawberry-Pistachio Tart

Servings: 9 squares
  • 1 package (7.5 oz) Chebe All Purpose Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 8 Tbsp (1 stick) butter room temperature
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 Tbsp honey plus more for drizzling
  • 10-12 strawberries hulled and thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios
  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F.
  2. Blend the butter and the sugar. Add the egg and beat together until creamy.
  3. With a fork or mixing spoon, gradually add Chebe mix and blend until it can form a ball.
  4. Chill dough in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
  5. Roll or press the dough out on a pan, forming a 9’’ x 9’’ crust.
  6. Place in oven for 9 minutes. Remove it, let cool for 5 minutes. Now it is ready for the toppings!
  1. Mix cream cheese and honey until light and fluffy.
  2. Spread the honey whipped cream cheese onto the surface of the dough in an even layer.
  3. Place strawberries on top in even layers, in whatever design you prefer.
  4. Place tart into the oven for 16 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  5. Remove tart from oven. Drizzle honey, and sprinkle pistachios over the top.
  6. Allow tart to cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

The cream cheese and honey topping is used in our Raspberry and Almond Chocolate Cookie Cake.
