Recipe adapted from The Frugal Girls
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 2 packages (7.5 oz) Chebe All Purpose Bread mix
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp oil
- 8 Tbsp milk
-
Spray the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
-
Melt butter in microwave and set aside.
-
Combine 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, garlic salt, and basil in gallon size plastic food bag, seal it and shake well to blend. Set aside.
-
Mix Chebe All Purpose Bread mix according to package directions, using 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese to the dry mixture.
-
Once the dough is smooth and well blended, divide the dough into about 50 pieces. Each ball should weigh about 1/2 oz.
-
Dip the dough balls in the melted butter, then transfer a few at a time into Parmesan Garlic mixture bag.
-
Seal the bag and carefully shake and roll the balls around so all pieces get coated.
-
Place dough balls around the bottom of crockpot. Continue with remaining dough.
-
Pour any remaining leftover butter over the bread balls in the crockpot.
-
Cook on high for 2 hours, or until done. Flip over after 1 hour.
-
Carefully pull apart pieces and enjoy!
This is delicious as an appetizer or serve with a side of marinara sauce as a delicious dinner side!
