- 1 package Chebe Garlic-Onion Breadstick Mix
- 2 eggs (or aquafaba*)
- 2 Tbs oil
- 4 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbs minced garlic
- 4 Tbs butter
-
Pre-heat oven to 375F

Prepare Chebe Garlic-Onion Breadstick Mix per package instructions, using 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese..
-
Once the dough ball is formed, divide dough evenly. 20-24 pieces (approx. 0.5 oz ea.)
-
Roll individual balls out to a 4" breadstick. Pick up each end of the breadstick and tie in a knot.
-
In separate bowl, combine the remaining Parmesan cheese, minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
-
Melt butter and brush onto the knotted dough.
-
Toss buttered knots in Parmesan cheese mixture until fully coated. Place knots loosely in a cast iron skillet (or a baking pan). Any remaining butter and cheese mixture can be sprinkled and drizzled on top.
-
Place cast iron skillet with knots into the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until garlic knots start to brown slightly.
*For an egg-free version, use 3 Tbsp aquafaba.
Serve hot & fresh with marinara for dipping. Or, let cool and serve with salad.
Great as a side to soup, chowder or chili.
